Mar i Muntanya
Carignan, Syrah
Roussillon, France

Mar i Muntanya 2019 was originally planned as a blend of ⅔ Syrah and ⅓ Grenache Noir. This is a fun, juicy wine, fermented in whole bunches and aged for 8 months; 65% in concrete tanks and the rest in oak barrels. ‘Mar i Muntanya’ means ‘Sea and Mountain’, a reference to the winery’s stunning location. Plenty of fresh red berries in this one. Drink slightly chilled with Catalan cheese and charcuterie.
